How these figures are made
Each restaurant counts once, under its main cuisine. Restaurants publish their dinner price as a band (for example ¥30,000–39,999); averages use the middle of each band, and the top open-ended bands count at their lower end, so the averages are, if anything, low. Lunch figures are medians of the lower end of each lunch band. Online booking in English means the restaurant can be booked through Tabelog's English site or a booking service linked from its own website. You may quote these figures with a link to this page.
